closedchrome does not support the scol plugin without relaunching browser with special command

Description
i just encountered this the first time i viewed a browser based .pak on chrome/win 7
it appears that the scol plugin is an NPAPI plugin, which chrome has stopped allowing viewers to use without relaunching the browser with a special command, and here is the bad part, every time you want to run the plugin you have to reenable it (you can't enable NPAPI plugins across browser sessions without following the steps)
here is info which you guys may know about:

to get the plugin to work all the time, it must be in the PPAPI format

either i'm not putting the correct file directories in the ftp dialog in os3d, or something is going wrong with .pak and dependency generation. if i create a file structure that is identical to where scol is looking for the dependencies as per the log file, the scene is viewable in chrome and firefox (allthough ie fails to detect the scol plugin.)
